service, clever, creative signage from concept to completion with the end customer in mind.
We are not ‘hunters' we see ourselves as ‘farmers' continually working on our products and building long term relationships with our clients.
Profile: Adam Heath
Adam Heath started signwriting at the age of 15 hand painting signs for his parent's caravan park in Nyah, just out of Swan Hill in Victoria.
From there opportunity knocked in Ballarat moving there in 1990 to live with his great grandmother, working out of her single car garage. When granny had had enough he moved into a central location opposite Cameron's in Eyre Street which is when he introduced vinyl cutting and saw the need to produce signage using more modern equipment.
From there the business grew in size requiring now a large factory. He established Ballarat Signworld in Howitt St Wendouree in which the business grew in size further and employed up to 6 staff. After seeing friends going on overseas holidays and changing jobs he decided to sell the business and have a break.
Completing his Real Estate Agents Representative license and working in a highly regarded real estate firm in Ballarat for 6 months untill his wife Lucinda gave birth to their beautiful twin girls.
From there 6 days per week was getting too much with the real estate so put on the boots and went plumbing with one of his best mates for 9 months. After making signs for so long and seeing if the grass was greener on the other side came to the realisation that making signs is in his blood.
Ballarat Signs was established as a boutique sign company to cater for those who appreciate quality service and signage.
Lucinda Heath
Lucinda manages the administration to keep the machine well oiled. Having a background in administration ensures the job flow runs smoothly as communication and systems based ordering and job tracking are implemented for each individual project. Lucinda is Ballarat born and bred and knows the local community well. She is enthusiastic about leading the business growth into the future as Ballarat continues to grow.
